This painting alludes to the song \u0022Even If\u0022 by the contemporary Christian group \u0022Mercy Me\u0022. Various Scripture passages which speak of our hope in Jesus (Luke 4:21 \/ Isaiah 9:1 \/ Titus 2:11 and Zephaniah 3:14) were transferred onto a film of clear acrylic and included in the collage. This is a high key palette of various yellows, apricot, and pinks, balanced with cool notes of blue and green.
