Very few people are what they appear just on the surface. Most people outwardly go about their daily lives, their work and activities, while they inwardly struggle--down under--with an entire interior landscape of thoughts, concerns, fears, hopes and emotions. I have presented this inner landscape in abstract form, using a pastel collage, which has been mounted on a birch panel and then overpainted with oil and cold wax. The panel has been routed with a \u0022keyhole\u0022 for ease of hanging, so no hardware is required.
