Exhibit Delights all in Manchester City Hall

Allison Freeman took the reins as coordinator of the City of Manchester National Arts Program show this year with a fantastic result! For the 17th year the show was proudly displayed on the first floor of Manchester City Hall and included a total of 112 pieces of art. The artworks were submitted by 82 employees representing fourteen different city departments as well as Manchester school district. The variety of mediums from each of the five categories, Youth Under 12 years through Professional Adults, made for a visually stunning exhibition that was a treat for guests to the reception as well as employees as they passed through the showcase during their work week.

This program was a first-time endeavor for both coordinator Allison Freeman, the MAC City Liaison, as well as most of the Manchester Arts Commission board. No one would guess this was their first staff and family exhibition as it was executed beautifully! The registration through the reception all went well with the awards ceremony being celebrated on May 8, 2026, with around 150 in attendance.

In honor of this year’s showcase, for the first time, professionally printed programs were created which highlighted the exhibit including all award and honorable mention winners and were very well received. Food and beverages and these programs all added to the atmosphere of the exhibit and will be a sure-fire way to have everyone anticipating the next annual show!
