A unique and one of a kind painting. This is the first of its series. The image came to me while mediating and reminds me through meditation there is peace and calming of the mind. The opened eye signifies the journey taken through one's life. The joys, the sadness, and the trauma which life brings. Through it all, when you begin to close your eyes and meditate, all of those things become still, then silent, and then peace. Your body feeling free and weightless.

This is an original canvas and a series. I have created an adventure my daughter's beau as he travels the world on his sail boat the Miss Kathryn. This particular work is where he beached the Not Finished Yet tender to embark on a days journey on this enchanted island in the Carribean as he continues towards Vencie Italy.

I painted this dog portrait by request, using a photo provided to me. While painting, I thought I would never capture the essence of this beautiful dog, but when I completed it, the dog's owner absolutely loved the final painting. It looked exactly like her dog, who had passed away... it is the joy people feel when they see a painting that looks so much like their fur baby that makes me love this talent I had no idea could come from my hands, brushes and acrylic paints.
