This is not cultured marble. This is the real stone. It is not a pour. Only thing not made from raw material is the base stone. That is a piece of rock a acquired on the beach. Dolphin jumping thru a wave made of stainless steel.

I love painting sea life. This was a sea lion painted from a picture. The sea lion was staring at the camera, and I believe I captured a great moment.

"Man With Flower II," Spray paint, oil paint, mixed media on masonite, 3'x4'
​This is a portrait of a man that I took on Venice Beach sitting on a bench.  Behind him is a trash can to show where he was sitting.  On the bench is a rainbow, to represent hope.  The image has both dark and light aspects.  He is in darkness, but the fluorescent colors are bringing light to the situation.  It is a painting and a collage.  There is a foam glitter heart sticker where his heart is, and there flowers in and around the trash can to show brightness from dark.  The umbrella is shelter, and the flowers represent growth.  There are plastic beads glued onto the painting in collage form to add to the areas of fluorescent color.

This work of art was created by a process called Yarn Painting. I start by drawing. Then I add an adhesive layer over the drawing. Then I lay lengths of yarn in bright colors onto the adhesive. This is a whimsical piece that from afar looks like an ice cream cone with a scoop of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate with a cherry on top. When you look closer, you see it is three kittens on top of the cone. One licking it's paw. One sleeping peacefully. And one playing with the cherry. The Healer of the Tribe holds a Quahog shell in one hand, with burning sage, the sun is just rising over the mountains, and she raises the sacred feather, to bless the young women who have climbed the hill during the night, to honor the creator, they are the Sunrise Dancers.
