Boston Celebrates 5th Annual Exhibit

This was the 5th Annual National Arts Program Exhibit for the City of Boston and what a wonderful show it was! The Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture (MOAC) partners with The National Arts Program each year to discover and celebrate artistic talent among the City of Boston employees. Once again, John Crowley, Curator and Exhibitions Coordinator for City Hall Galleries, executed this beloved exhibition.

There were eleven city departments represented this year and the entries were exhibited in City Hall Galleries and throughout the building from October 2nd through November 18th, 2022.  Our very own Executive Director, Jackie Szafara, was able to attend the reception in person and thank the artists for their beautiful contributions to the showcase. Pictured here are just a couple of our personal favorites from the show including; ".....fin" by Thomas Cormier (Amateur, Third Place Winner) and "Joyful Girl" by Yan Yi Huang (Professional, First Place Winner).
