Festive Event for Pittsburgh

On Tuesday, April 3rd an evening reception and awards ceremony was held to honor the winners of the 13th Annual NAP Exhibit- “ARTWorks”, a competition that showcases the creative talents of City of Pittsburgh employees and their families. Each year the City-County Building’s grand lobby serves as the setting for this impressive collection of visual artworks. The show, which included 175 pieces submitted by 115 artists, drew a huge crowd of over 450 for the reception.

Coordinator Lee Frankowski organized a child friendly hospitality area at the opening reception which received rave reviews from participating parents. Children were treated to their own specially prepared “kid friendly foods” station, and had a circular child sized table “art station” that allowed them to express their creativity during the event.
