Honolulu Hosts Record Breaking Ninth Show
Honolulu, Hawaii did not just host their ninth exhibition with the NAP this past August, they celebrated the largest show they’ve had since joining the program in 2005. This year’s exhibit, which was on display in the Honolulu Hale Courtyard, featured a record breaking 210 pieces of art from 129 different participants!
As always, coordinator Scott Goto does a tremendous job of organizing the show right down to the little details. From planning and promoting to intake and installing, he makes the process seem effortless all while providing the participants with nothing short of a professional experience.
In keeping with tradition, each winner was presented with a flower lei and all Honorable Mention winners received a gift of art supplies. One department director even reached out to Scott in advance of the reception so that she could personally purchase a lei for each of her employees who participated as a way of recognizing their artistic talents.
The NAP is truly grateful to the Honolulu community and Scott for the show’s continued success!
