It’s All About Family at Reno-Tahoe International Airport, NV
The National Arts Program® at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport has really become a family affair. Coordinator Kim Matthews said that, “the gallery was busting with proud family members,” at their reception held in November. The Mueller family (pictured left) is just one example. Both their daughters were honored with awards at this years reception. Anne Mueller received a First Place ribbon in the Teen 13-18 category and her younger sister, Daisy received a Honorable Mention for her artwork in the Youth 12 & Under category.
Kim also noted that, “twenty new airport artists were introduced,” at the Fourth Annual NAP Exhibition. With close to 100 pieces of artwork on display, the NAP looks forward to the continued growth of participation from airport employees and their families in 2011!
