Lubbock Celebrates 25th NAP Anniversary
Lubbock, Texas celebrated their 25th National Arts Program® Anniversary this year. This longstanding NAP show is run by our terrific coordinator, Paula Griffith, who is the Director for the Lubbock Municipal Garden & Arts Center. The Center is the location of the show which included 166 works this year by the City of Lubbock employees and their immediate family members.
The reception which Paula was able to enhance with the help of some of her Non-Matching Scholarship dollars was held on November 7th and included over 100 guests. Officials came out to support the NAP and honor the talents artists including the Mayor Glen Robertson, City Manager James Loomis, City Councilman Griffith and Managing Director Brooke Witcher. Paula commented that the NAP Exhibit, “is an awesome program and the City of Lubbock Cultural Arts Program is proud to have been a part of it for 25 years!”
