Macaroni Kid Congratulates ~ National Arts Winners
The National Arts Program Foundation (NAP) funded $2400 in prize money for this months exhibit at the Osceola Center for the Arts in Kissimmee. Over 100 employees,volunteers and family members of the Osceola County School District and theCenter are exhibiting 165 pieces of artwork in all mediums including painting,photography, drawing, sculpture and craft through November 6, 2011. “This year we nearly doubled the participation from last years show,” stated Jules Davidson, Visual Arts Director for Center, adding, “We hope to continue to show growth in this event not only to share the wonderful exposure and prize money for the school district participants but to show the importance of the arts toour community through great programs and grants from national organizations.”
