NAP Artists featured on the cover of Pinellas County's "The Pen"

The Pen asked the artists who won first in their categories a few questions. We received 5 responses and summarized below.

 

"Joelle" - Josh Lynch - Best of Show

 

This winning drawing was done freehand from a photo of the artist’s girlfriend. Josh says he has worked in other mediums but prefers pencil because it is a very precise form. Josh has taken art classes “when they presented themselves” from junior high through college. He works for DEI at Solid Waste in the HEC3 (Household Electronics and Chemicals Collection Center) where they “take in hazardous household chemicals and electronics as a proactive measure so they don’t end up in the environment and/or harm anyone".
