National Arts Program® Exhibit on Display at Government Center
Art for and from the public will be in the lobby of the Char-Meck Government Center until February 24.
Close to 150 local artists are crawling out of the woodwork and onto the walls of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library, the Arts & Science Council, and Mecklenburg County invited their employees and their employee's relatives to submit visual art as part of the 11th annual National Arts Program®. The art is now on display at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center through February 24th. There's close to 150 participating artists this year.
The program also gives awards to participants, including two youth awards, whom ASC profiled with this adorable (and amazing) video...meet Daniel and Meg! And be sure to stop by the Government Center (on today's lunch break, perhaps?) to see the rest of the art!
