New Orleans NAP Opens with Honorable Mayor Ray Nagin

Mayor C. Ray Nagin proudly introduced the National Arts Program in New Orleans for the Fifth time.

President of the NAP, Kathleen C. Jamieson, and Director Jackie Szafara were also on hand to welcome guests and hand out scholarships and awards. 

Ms. Asali DeVan was awarded the five year plaque from the NAP for her service and committment to the show. Mr. Ernest Collins, Arts & Culture Director for New Orleans introduced former winners to say a few words on behalf of the show.
