The City of New Orleans is rich in culture and artistic heritage and this is extremely evident in this year’s Sixth Annual NAP Exhibition. Boasting not only the highest participation numbers, but also setting a new record for number of pieces on display since the program started in New Orleans five years ago, this year’s exhibition showcased a wide range of artistic talent. First time coordinator Alison Gavrell was amazed by the variety of talent spanning across all medium categories. Alison commented, “that the NAP allows our employees to express their unique voices and contribute to this overall culture.”
The exhibition, which featured 115 pieces of artwork by 76 different artists, was on display at City Hall for almost the entire month of July. This location allows numerous visitors to take in the hidden talents of the city employees, providing a personal side to the public.
