Pasco County Exceeds Expectations
Pasco County, Florida is quickly becoming one of our fastest growing and must beloved National Arts Program exhibits. Coordinator Alesha Hassard commented that this year they had more teen and youth participation than ever before. Word is spreading to county employee family members, and their participation is growing. In total an amazing collection of 141 pieces of art submitted by Pasco County employees and their family members was displayed in the West Pasco Government Center.
After last year’s hurricane-related cancellations, we were especially thrilled to see the return of the awards reception. According to Alesha, the enthusiasm was incredible, and attendance far exceeded their RSVP count, proving just how much the community values this creative celebration.
Support from county leadership continues to grow as well. Administrators were so pleased with the program’s success that they have arranged for a second display of the winning artworks in an additional county government building once the initial exhibition concludes.
This year also marked Alesha's first as lead coordinator, and she has already helped solidify the program as a meaningful and engaging opportunity for employees. We are grateful for her passion, creativity, and dedication to fostering community through the arts in Pasco County!
