Reno-Tahoe International Airport Engages Traveling Passengers in NAP Exhibit

A coloring wall located at the entrance of the depARTures Gallery during their NAP exhibition invites everyone to get coloring!

Kim Matthews had a fantastic idea for the 8th Annual Reno-Tahoe International Airport’s National Arts Program® Exhibit. She decided to create a coloring wall at the entrance of the gallery inviting everyone to participate in coloring it in. Kim stated that the wall, “filled in quite nicely thanks to Reno-Tahoe International Airport’s traveling passengers”.

Coloring is something often thought of as a kid’s activity but has recently become extremely popular with adults too! This was a ‘fun for the whole family’ idea and a great way to engage visitors to the exhibit, which is on display from May 3rd through July 27th.

The show features 112 artworks all created by employees of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, tenant employees of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, recent retirees and their immediate family members. The works were professionally displayed in their depARTures Gallery for the third year in a row. Marily Mora, President and CEO of Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority was in attendance at the May 25th Awards Reception and helped to celebrate all of the wonderful artists that participated in the show this year.  We look forward to the continued success of the NAP show in Reno-Tahoe!
