Show your 'Heart for Art" today

If you love art and you "art" (sorry) afraid to show it, then maybe you should participate in the Hearts for Art project at the Denver Art Museum. The campaign starts Tuesday and runs through Sunday.
Here's how it works:
1. Pick up a single heart at the museum and hold it close until you see a piece of artwork that interests you.
2. Once you fall in love, you can then show it how much you care by placing your heart on the floor in front of the piece.
3. Snap a photo of your art crush and post it to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. You can use the hashtags #denverartmuseum and #heartsforart to connect with other people who love art, too.
Unfortunately, not every piece of art can get your heart. Make sure you pay attention to the signs that say "no photography." That's especially true for the Brilliant: Cartier in the 20th Century exhibit. Other than those restrictions you have free range.
The Hearts for Arts project was started by the Oakland Museum of California and the Columbus Museum of Art. Since it's creation, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Phillbrook Museum of Art and the Santa Monica Museum of Art and History have all signed on to participate in this project.
