Sixth Year for Central Louisiana Arts & Healthcare, LA
This was the sixth year that Central Louisiana Arts & Healthcare hosted their combination performing and visual arts follies. As usual their National Arts Program® exhibit was displayed in the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center & Hospital Galleries. The show is mounted on movable display panels throughout the lobby and hangs from March 31st through April 30th.
Judy Ginsburgh, Executive Director of Central Louisiana Arts and Healthcare, Inc. has been coordinating the show from the very beginning. With numbers declining over recent years there was a big effort to boost participation this year, resulting in 79 artists submitting 135 pieces.
Alexandria Mayor, Jacques Roy was in attendance for the event on March 31st which included extensive media coverage by The Town Talk, Cenla Focus, KALB-TV and KLAX-TV. This was a very successful event and certainly showcases the talents of the medical professionals and their families.
