Untapped Talent on Display in Ventura County
On January 6th another successful National Arts Program® Exhibit closed in Ventura County, California. This was their 13th year with the program and 133 pieces were beautifully displayed in the Atrium Gallery of the Ventura County Government Center.
Long time coordinator Margaret Travers takes great care in assuring that artists of all levels of ability are honored and treated to an extraordinary experience. Margaret sent along a comment from an Honorable Mention Award Winner who said, “…my thanks to the entire Ventura County Arts Council, the National Arts Program staff, and the art competition judges for a wonderful arts competition this year! … I was truly honored to be awarded a ribbon and Certificate for my artwork – especially since it was the first piece of art I have created!”
We are so pleased to be able to partner with the Ventura County Arts Council to offer this opportunity to the Ventura County employees and their families. The artwork being brought forth represents the previously untapped visual art talents of this wonderful community.
