Art Museum Requests NAP Youth & Teen Artwork Remain on Display

The Seventh Annual NAP exhibition in the City of Casper, WY was once again on display at the Nicolaysen Art Museum (NIC), a local private not-for-profit museum. Adding a new twist to this year’s exhibition, the artwork was hung in two different locations within the museum. The show, which featured 96 pieces of artwork, was on display in the both the NIC lobby as well as the Discovery Center. By spreading the artwork throughout these two locations within the museum, it not only provided more space for the exhibit, but also gave visitors an opportunity to explore other areas of the museum besides the lobby.

In addition, for the first time the NIC requested that the youth and teen artwork entered in the NAP show remain on display in the Discovery Center through the month of September. This was a wonderful treat for these young artists as they were given the opportunity to have their artwork displayed in the museum for an extra three months. It’s always nice to see local organizations supporting the NAP artists and helping to bring the community together through the art of its members.
