Record Numbers for Honolulu

With strong support from Mayor Caldwell along with the hard work of new venue coordinator Scott Goto, it’s no wonder this year’s exhibition in Honolulu, HI was a tremendous success. The show not only featured 101 participants exhibiting 163 pieces, but boasted the highest numbers for both categories since joining the National Arts Program® seven years ago!

 

Even with all the growth this year, Scott was still able to keep many of the traditions that make this show so unique, including presenting each award winner with a flower lei at the reception. It’s this combination of elements that make this show a great example of the NAP!
