Artwork from nearly 100 municipal employees and their families was on display recently at Portland City Hall as part of the fourth Annual Exhibit and Awards of the National Arts Program®, city officials announced Thursday in a press release.

The show ran from March 5 to March 15, and was hung on the walls at City Hall . “The National Arts Program® and the city’s exhibit offer employees and their families an opportunity to bring forth their talents - at whatever level - amateur, intermediate, professional, or youth, and share their work with their colleagues and the public,” Karen Seymour, Recreation Supervisor and organizer of the event, said in a release. “The exhibit demonstrates how art can help employees express themselves and their relationship with their work.” www.portlandsun.me
