University of Arizona President Attends NAP

Art Education Award Winner, Winona Esher poses alongside her artwork entitled 'Water Glass' at the University of Arizona NAP Exhibit.

Pamela Wagner, the wonderful coordinator of the University of Arizona’s National Arts Program Exhibit, had another successful year. She hung a total of 186 artworks for their 9th annual exhibit! Their show, entitled “On Our Own Time”, invites all UA employees, retirees and immediate family members to take part.
This year Pam shared that they had an extra special moment at the February 9th Awards Reception when University of Arizona President, Dr. Robert Robbins made a surprise appearance. Dr. Robbins, along with 150 guests, was treated to a beautiful showcase of talent from the University of Arizona community. President Robbins delighted the attendees by chatting with some of the artists and is pictured here with the First Place Youth Category Winner, Erik Quintero.
It was an honor to have the University of Arizona President attend the reception and not surprising that people are taking notice of the tremendous efforts of Pam Wagner who has made the show more popular then ever!
