Napa State Hospital, CA Boost Attendance
Participation was up more than thirty percent for Napa’s Fourth Annual NAP Exhibit! Coordinator Sally Denman did a wonderful job and obviously put the Non-Matching Scholarship dollars to good use by also boosting attendance at the opening reception and awards ceremony!
Sally commented that “the show continues to provide so much in terms of staff morale boosting, recognition, stress relief and good ole fun, not to mention encouraging continued artistic expression.”
Napa is a terrific example of how the NAP can flourish within a hospital environment. Not only are the employees interacting and recognizing each others talents, but the patients are also beginning to connect with the staff. The exhibit seems to create an opportunity for patients and visitors to feel a deeper sense of community with the hospital itself.
This year’s NAP exhibit was a success on many levels and we appreciate everyone’s hard work in producing it.
