Kindness

"Kindness" is a piece that was completed in 3 days. I mixed #2 pencil with some pastel pencils. It was a challenging piece due to its size (36x36), and the more I drew the more challenging it became. It was finalized on 1/17/18 (one day before it was due); I am glad it is finished and it is now part of the exhibition this Spring. My inspiration for this painting is my son (who has enlisted in the Army this year) and my pet Caliope, who happens to be a new addition to our home.
