I had the good fortune to be visiting family in Santa Barbara, CA for Christmas. We took a walk on Christmas morning along the sea wall and were treated to some amazing waves. A glimmer of light was peaking through the clouds and shining on the ocean. Shortly after taking the photo for this painting, a rogue wave crashed into the wall. We were completely drenched!
