Eighth Year for Orlando, FL

On June 13th the 8th Annual National Arts Program® in the City of Orlando opened and included 120 artworks from 87 artists. The exhibit, titled "Orlando City Artworks: art by those who serve" has become a wonderful tradition for the employees and their families. Every year an amazing collection of visual artwork is hung in the Orlando City Hall Terrace Gallery.

This year at the awards reception, Chief of Staff Frank Billingsley served as the master of ceremonies, while Mayor Buddy Dyer handed out the awards to the proud winners. The reception even included a cup decorating workshop for employees, sponsored by the Pottery Studio. Coordinator Paul Wenzel commented that, "the NAP’s Non-Matching Scholarship money was extremely helpful and very much appreciated!" The NAP is extremely grateful to Paul and we are lucky to have a dedicated Coordinator who works hard to produce a show that everyone can be proud of. Thank you Paul!
