State of Delaware Reception Photos Posted Online!

On January, 9th the State of Delaware held their First Annual NAP Awards Reception. Twenty-three awards were announced in five categories – Professional, Intermediate, Amateur, Teen (13-18 years old), and Youth (12 years and under) and one Best in Show.

The response to this first-ever statewide employee art exhibition and contest sponsored by the Delaware Division of the Arts was impressive, with 244 employees of Delaware state agencies and their immediate family members submitted artwork for the exhibition and contest. The participating artists came from across the state (nearly half from Kent and Sussex Counties) and represented 61 state agencies. The exhibition will be on view on the second floor and in the Mezzanine Gallery in the Carvel State Office Building through January 27. Hours for viewing are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
