Marco Aguero
Marco Agüero-Montero was born in 1974 in Caracas, Venezuela, and spent most of his life in Barquisimeto. He graduated from La Salle High School in Barquisimeto in 1992 and later earned his degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Yacambú in 1998.
He currently resides in Orlando, Florida, where he has lived since 2014. During his time in the United States, Marco developed a deep curiosity for art and literature.
He is also the author of El Turista Inmigrante (The Immigrant Tourist), a work based on real-life experiences. The book tells the story of a Venezuelan who arrives in the United States on a tourist visa but soon applies for asylum in search of a new life. It also explores the difficulties he faced during his first year abroad, contrasting the challenges with the opportunities and freedoms enjoyed in a democratic society.
