Chase Trout
I am a middle school art teacher, and I truly love what I do. Teaching art allows me to combine creativity, curiosity, and connection every single day. I have worked at the same middle school in Parker, Colorado for the past six years, where I have built strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community. During this time, I have had the opportunity to develop engaging lessons that encourage self-expression, critical thinking, and confidence through the visual arts.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I developed a strong foundation in both studio practice and conceptual thinking. I later completed my Master of Art Education at Fort Lewis College, which deepened my passion for teaching and strengthened my commitment to meaningful, student-centered learning. My long-term professional goal is to pursue a PhD in Curriculum Design, with a specific focus on art integration. I am especially interested in exploring how the arts can be meaningfully woven into other subject areas to enhance student engagement, understanding, and creativity. Teaching continues to inspire me, and I am excited to keep growing as both an educator and an advocate for the arts.
