George Simmerman
Began painting in oils early 1960's in the US Air Force. Completed wildlife photography and painted from photos. I carve fish, flowers, song birds and duck decoys from cedar and paint those in oils. I also paint on a variety of hand tools - saws, food choppers, and antique irons. I lived in Great Britain for several years with the Air Force and began painting their thatched cottages on canvas and saws. I've done a variety of craft shows throughout southern New Jersey.
My husband, George, passed away December 1, 2013 after a very short illness. He left a wealth of artwork, paintings and carvings.
