Born & raised in the SF Bay Area, art major San Jose State University 1972-73. Switched focus & became a main-frame computer programmer in Silicon Valley for 9 yrs, then moved to Modesto, CA continuing career. Experimented in watercolors, acrylics, oils, charcoals, oil pastels, & wood working. Started family not returning to creative endeavors until 2003 when she began working with textiles. A move to Reno, NV in 2004 provided inspiration to explore the abstract, experimenting with textiles, multi media, pattern, texture, form & layering of elements to expose uncommon relationships.
