I have been woodworking casually since my teenage years when my uncle lent me his table saw. Gradually I built up my confidence and skills, and over the past 30 years have mostly used those skills to do home remodeling in my spare time. Since 2009 I have taken a renewed interest in woodworking, and would like to learn more advanced techniques and achieve some more depth of skills. My workshop is in my garage. My favorite tool is a 14-inch band saw. I have been making band saw boxes since May, 2009. I am a founding member of the Woodworkers of NW Bradenton.

When working with wood it is common to think about trees and how incredible they are. These projects were inspired by trees. They are useful for storing jewelry and necklaces.
