As a kid, my fascination with animation and comics helped me to focus on my art. I took classes at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, other small classes and focused on studio arts in College. While volunteering with my local Boys and Girls club as an art instructor, I took a liking to the kids and teaching. I transferred to Carlow University where I studied Art Education and graduated in 2011. I was even the Comic page editor for the University Newspaper. I still do some freelance work for family and friends. I also take advantage of open studios, and free gallery events when I can.
