I started drawing as a child alongside my father so I have been drawing all my life. It wasn’t until a fellow art league member introduced me to soft pastels in the 1990‘s that I began to “paint”. Since all of my early work was charcoal and graphite, I found painting with color to be very exciting. Over the last 25 years I have experimented with oils, watercolor, acrylic and colored pencil as well as the pastels.
I have participated in a number of shows and have won several awards in these shows including “Best of Show” and "Juror's Choice".
