I studied art at the University of Georgia and worked as a graphic artist in the print industry for a number of years. During that time I also enjoyed painting whimsical animal designs. I had several paintings published as greeting cards by Recycled Paper Products and a notecard published by Creative Papers by C.R. Gibson.
Always animal lovers, my husband and I have had numerous cats, dogs and rabbits throughout our marriage. During recent years I have been saddened by so many stories of animal neglect and cruelty.
