Laura Eyring graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1987. She received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, cum laude. In 1998 Laura took a hiatus from art to pursue a chemistry degree at Drexel University. She now works as an analytical chemist and draws at night, while her husband and two children are asleep.
