Always enjoyed photography since my high school graduation. My parents gave me my first good camera, a Canon AE1. Photography was a lot more expensive in those days because I needed to purchase film and have it developed. Now I have a Canon Rebel Digital camera with a Tamron lens (it is my go-to lens because it is so versatile). I have entered the Atlantic Health System National Arts contest every year, and this year, 2015, I won First Place in the Adult Amateur category. I am so thrilled to be acknowledged alongside so many talented individuals!
