Anne Townsend

I am a proud Art Teacher at an Expeditionary Learning School called Presumpscot Elementary School in Portland. Prior to being a public school teacher, I worked for several years as an Outdoor Educator and Community Arts Educator with organizations, such as Outward Bound, Rippleffect, A Company of Girls, and Oak Street Studios. Now at Presumpscot, I am able to combine my love for Expeditionary Learning with the visual arts and collaborate with other educators to create projects that promote lifelong learning. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy being physically active in the outdoors, as well as cooking and painting.
