Born January 9, 1984 in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mike Marks graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2007 with a BFA in Drawing. He worked as an artist and musician in Ohio before leaving to hike the southern half of the Appalachian Trail on an art scholarship. Mike moved to Portland, Maine in October 2009 where he does a lot of hiking, biking, and painting in addition to being a current member of Portland's Peregrine Press Printmaking Co-Op. He recently completed a spring term as Artist- In-Residence for Acadia National Park.
