I am a documentary photographer, originally from Finland and Sweden, now residing on the Upper West Side in New York. In 1988 I graduated from the Nordic College of Photography in Stockholm. Cultural diversities, human faces and street life fascinate me. Many of my projects are from my travels, especially to India. My project areas include the Stockholm and New York subways, everyday life in a small village and a Shiva-temple in India. A project entitled Death is Part of Life, shows the work of undertakers in Sweden.
