After growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Kay Ross moved to Tucson for work and now considers herself a semi-native of Arizona. Kay has been taking a class every week from a local artist since 2013. Her work has been shown at student art shows and juried shows in Tucson. Pieces are currently in residence in New York, Washington, Oregon and Arizona. Working with acrylics on canvas, Kay paints the essence of what she is seeing and experiencing. She works to convey the essence through colors, shapes and light, creating movement and drawing us into the environment.
