Deborah Simpson Bio:
My first creative experience was learning to crochet with my grandmother as a child. Then we moved on to knitting and embroidering pillowcases. I remember sitting for hours with the textures and colors of the yarns and threads watching her work. Sometimes my grandmother would give me an old sweater to unravel and make a new skein of recycled yarn. This was my practice yarn to learn stitches.
