Boston based multimedia artist, JEvans draws from a love of rock music and color theory to facilitate her work. She often seeks out a challenge in order to keep her work fresh; this has lead to an ever-growing collection of painted denim and leather jackets, painted windows, and even a show poster painted on human legs. While being open to any blank canvas, she does still use traditional bristol paper for illustration and lettering work. Finding a way to combine humour, nights in the mosh pit at concerts, and the brightest colors that are available in gouache and acrylic paints is the game plan.
