In 2015 I started my jewelry business "BeadArt by Jeanette" after graduating from the New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD). My favorite technique is called “bead embroidery” in which a variety of beads and/or crystals are sewn together with a needle and thread. In 2019, I expanded my jewelry business to include other beaded pieces such as ornaments, beaded wall art, coasters, scarves and beaded purses. My prospects are virtually limitless as I continue to find unique and exciting beaded pieces to create.
Bohemian Black and Gray Cuff Bracelet
Bohemian Black and Gray Cuff Bracelet

This hand-beaded Bohemian Cuff Bracelet is absolutely gorgeous! The focal point is an 18x17x7mm Natural Bryozoan Moroccan Coral (very rare!). Bryozoa are mostly marine invertebrate animals that reproduce by budding and usually form permanently attached branched or mossy colonies. It looks as if the coral is covered in snake skin...quite unusual! Tiny glass and crystal beads were gently hand-embroidered in a composition of white, gray, black and silver. The backside was covered in a very soft gray Ultrasuede. The bracelet is somewhat flexible and will fit a wide range of wrist sizes. It measures 2" x 7". This bracelet is guaranteed to be noticed. It has a good weight and feel...a very solid piece!
"Victorian Romance" Beaded Ornament

Such a BEAUTY! The deep honey colored glass ornament is accented with Swarovski topaz crystals which are intermingled with tiny gold beads. All the beads were individually sewn together using only a needle and nylon thread. Very intricate detailed work!! The technical term for such an ornament is "Ornament Cover" because the beads can be removed if the glass ornament is broken and easily placed on another ornament of the same size.
