I haven't done any type of art since childhood. I had to drop it for "practical" reasons, entering the work force after high school because my family had limited means.
I've been suppressing my artistic side ever since. For 2020, I decided to make a change. At the beginning of the year I bought a bunch of acrylic paint, having never used the medium before, and having not attempted art since high school. I'm really enjoying myself, and I have a feeling I may have a knack for this... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
