Rachel Day is a New York City based artist with a love for watercolor and acrylic painting.
As a current events fanatic, the Black Lives Matter movement has influenced her latest series. Her pieces are inspired by images and ideas from recent events and the media. She illustrates the concept of overwriting existing infrastructure and landmarks with the BLM theme to commemorate the often unacclaimed contributions of the Black community.
