We look for heroes during times of strife. As such, we have imagined beings with superhuman abilities to lead us through crisis. Today we need look no farther than our everyday heroes, our Essential Workers. We would all be in serious trouble if these brave individuals didn’t show up to perform their jobs. I am so grateful to these people who are masking and gloving up, risking their own health and wellbeing so that we can continue to get medical care, educate our children and put food on our tables.
