Nisha Strain

Nisha attended the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary for a foundation year but then decided to take a detour and get her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. She had a successful career in the oil and gas industry for 19 years enabling her to travel to many places in the world. She continued to paint always in layers with hidden messages, meanings and lots of colors. In 2019, she uprooted her life to move Charlotte, NC. Being in a new environment Nisha has created several new series of paintings. The driving force behind each series focuses on growth and exploration of the world around her.
